Hello, I’m Owen (he/him)! I’m a queer Filipino teen currently living in London, UK. I am interested in pursuing Biology, especially genetics and botany, and I am an advocate for combining the sciences with the arts! I love viewing art in different forms - vinyl covers, music compositions, dance routines, game designs, etc. Most of my works are usually acrylic paintings and pencil drawings but I also appreciate experimenting with other materials.
I enjoy making art that explores societal roles and expectations, familial ties, and cultural identity. Growing up as a gay Asian boy in a strict religious environment has been challenging - I want to create art that people can resonate with, allowing them to insert their own interpretations and interwoven narratives while still maintaining the fact that it is still intimate and personal to me.
