I am an ordinary Korean university student called Han Ji-soo. I am majoring in nursing and attending Kyungpook National University in Daegu. I love art in various fields such as literature, music, and photography, and I want to show myself through one of them, painting. I want ordinary people to enjoy ordinary human paintings.

I just record my favorite things in paintings, and I would be happy if there was someone who enjoyed my favorite things with the same heart as me.

Artwork:

Title: "Above eyes, at stake"

Description: ”I‘m lonely and at stake above your eyes.“
This painting was born from simple graffiti. When I drew a line, I was reminded of the shape of a person's face, so I added the mouth, eyebrows, and eyes.

The stroke that extends from the eye means the line of sight(視線), and it is the place where the lonely and free being reflected in people‘s eyes stays. We always live above other people’s eyes. Sometimes it‘s lonely and as close as a tightrope walk.

Don’t you feel free when you‘re alone in a room with no one, when you take a shower? But we can never get away with it. Falling from sight is like sky diving in a landless sky.
